Nikhila Seminyak Hotel is located off a road from one of the bustling parts of Seminyak. About a 15 minutes walk to the beach, this hotel offers a great overall experience for those who are visiting Bali.
The hotel is modern, spacious, and feels “open.”
The best part is the staff here work hard to make sure guests feel welcomed and comfortable.
Sleeping experience
I booked the deluxe double room which offered a spacious bed. I’d almost consider it a King Size bed.
The bed was high quality and extremely comfortable. Linens are pure white and smelled fresh. The perfect combination for a nice restful sleep.
My only gripe was the pillows are too firm and high for me, which was sort of uncomfortable some moments of the night. If you’re a low and soft pillow type, you may need to bring your own?
Room experience
Oddly colourful with the patterns on the wall and the orange desk, but at least the great lighting in the room made up for it. The deluxe room is equipped with three lamps, pot lights overhead, and a headboard light. Adjust them to however you like and it feels cozy during the night.
Amenities
There is a roof top bar and pool (only about 1.5m deep and a shallow section for kids.) It was a nice space to relax if you want to sun bathe or chill out.
During my visit, the bar was closed due to being in the tail end of Covid period.
The common areas are nicely decorated and furnished, which feels inviting to hang out and relax.
The rooms are equipped with an electric kettle, TV with multiple channels, and a clothes drying rack out on the balcony for when you come back from the beach/pool.
The vibes
This is a place to rest with a slower pace to it.
You likely won’t find any partying happening here. Most of the guests kept to themselves and spent time sunbathing on the rooftop.
The mix here were middle aged, families, or came as a couple.

Needs improvement
- Bathroom needs a good scrub (Buy a scrubbing brush!)
- Bathroom lighting needs to be brighter
- Bathroom drains sometimes smell
- Toilets need to be cleaned better
- Wi-fi can be slow and choppy
