According to Cathay Pacific website, Travelers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result to make a transit connection in Hong Kong SAR. A little deeper look into it, it appears the change was implemented today for any flights departing after June 1 00:00 Hong Kong time.
I’m happy that my transit outbound flight to Bangkok now just cost less than originally planned. Also I am happy that the world is slowly removing hurdles for travellers and transitioning to pre-pandemic times.
